How the $1,000 fixed price build works
Monday, Phil:
Phil calls you to confirm your brief, answer any questions and take payment over the phone. Once that's done, you'll get a secure link to upload your logo and photos and we get started.
Tuesday, Matt and Ben:
Build starts. Matt codes your site structure and pages from scratch while Ben sets up your hosting and technical environment.
Wednesday, Matt and Ben:
Matt brings in your branding, images and content. Ben makes sure everything loads fast and works on every device.
Thursday, Phil:
Phil sends you a private preview link and walks you through what's been built. You tell us what you want changed, nothing gets locked in without your sign off.
Friday, Phil:
Phil jumps on a short video call with you to go through the final version together. Any last changes get done before we touch your live domain.
Go live, Ben:
Ben handles the technical launch. You add 2 DNS records or give us access and we do it. Your site goes live.
The build is done within 7 days. Going live depends on you attending your handover call and updating your DNS. Most clients are live within 10 days of payment.

What you need to know about the $1,000 build.
Why is there more information about the $1,000 build?
The consultative build works the same way as most professional web agencies. You get on a call, we scope it together, we build it and you pay in stages. Most people already understand that process.
The $1,000 build is different. It's a streamlined, low-touch service and we want to make sure you know exactly what that means before you submit your brief. Who builds it, how we communicate, and what happens if something goes wrong. That's why we've laid it all out here.
Is it a real custom website?
Yes. No templates, no WordPress, no page builders. We write the code from scratch the same way we do on every other project.
What's the catch?
Two things.
First, there's no backend for you to log in and make changes yourself. If you want to swap an image or update a service later, you email Phil and we handle it. This is included in our hosting packages from $29 a month.
Second, this is a low-touch service by design. The $1,000 price is possible because we cut out the back and forth that makes agencies expensive. You get two calls, one with Phil to confirm your brief and take payment, and one handover call at the end to review the site together. Everything in between is handled by email. No strategy sessions, no check-in calls, no account manager chasing you for feedback.

What about customer service?
Phil handles all client communication and he's easy to reach. The difference is how we communicate, not whether we do. During your build, Phil contacts you by email with updates and any questions. You have two calls, one at the start to confirm everything and one at the end to review the site together. Outside of those calls, everything goes through email.
If something goes wrong or you have a concern at any point, you email Phil and he responds the same business day. You're never left wondering what's happening with your project.
How is it $1,000 when agencies charge $5,000+?
We cut out everything that makes agencies expensive. No discovery workshops, no account managers, no project management software. You send us your business info, services, photos and logo. We start coding. That's it.
What if I don't like it?
We keep making revisions until you do. If we genuinely can't get it right, we'll refund you. We're not interested in making life harder for Australian businesses.
What do you need to have ready?
